Beatrice was born in Genova, Italy, in 1969. She studied at the Liceo Artistico Statale Paul Klee in Genova and at the Scuola Professionale di Forografina F:64 in Florence.
After her studies, she worked as a fashion photographer in Florence, Milan and Paris.
In 1997, she returned to her first and true passion, painting, and started her artistic career as a painter and art teacher in various European countries (Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Italy).
Her work now resides in collections all over the world.
"My passions in life are art, traveling and getting to know people from other places and cultures. I use visual language to translate the iconography of the different countries I travel to. I believe in the power of symbols and archetypes, and in the connection between all human beings through collective consciousness and dreams."
Beatrice's images talk directly to the subconscious through universal symbols and themes: Nature, Mother Earth, Time and Infinity, the Feminine, Dreams, Consciousness. She loves drawing with pen on paper (so simple, yet so direct), but for her it’s always interesting to explore new media and techniques.
She uses printmaking, ink, collage, acrylic paint, pen and melding together techniques to create the picture on different surfaces like wood, canvas, ceramic, furniture.
"I am grateful for the gift of creativity and honored to share it with the world.
It is exciting to know my artwork travels and finds new homes, and follows the essence of its nature."
