Ana Fernández Ballarín (Zaragoza, ESP) lives and works in Madrid, she has a degree in Fine Arts (UCLM) and studied a master's degree in Visual Arts at the Dutch Art Institute (ArtEz) in the Netherlands where she lived for several years.
With training and experience in design, her work finds its basis in her own experiences and her vision of nature and the dark and bright side of feminine energy.
Under an abstract gaze that explores the idea of the liberation of forms, of the movement of the body as the only guide and of feeling above thinking. They are paintings that evoke meditation and the search for inner calm.
"In my work, I explore the intersection of art and meditation, using the creative process as a pathway to mindfulness. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and engage with the present moment. Through the rhythm of brushstrokes, the interplay of color, and the layering of textures, I aim to evoke a sense of tranquility and introspection. My art reflects the stillness found within meditation, transforming chaos into clarity. Each artwork serves as a reminder to pause, to reflect, and to find beauty in the act of simply being. Through this practice, I hope to inspire others to connect with their own inner landscapes and embrace the meditative power of creativity."
