Maria is a graphic artist currently living and working in Ibiza.

"Perfection has no relevance for me and each piece has its individual character. Inspired by the organic form of nature and the wabi sabi philosophy, some of my pieces are raw, primitive and austere, others pieces are inspired by architecture references, art or design, but all reflect the different facets of my personality."
A few years ago she discovered in the ceramic a new media to express her creativity. She took classes in pottery workshop Sa Teulera with the master potter Adrian Ribas, where she learned the basics of working on the potter's wheel. Maria learned to produce her own glazes with Carmen Ruiz, who has a degree in chemical sciences, is a professor of ceramic materials, and a specialist in glaze formulations. So, she prepare her own food safe glazes. Then a lot of work, exploring different clays and techniques.
Now Maria makes unique and limited edition pieces slow handcrafted on wheel throwing and by hand in stoneware.
