" My work is characterised by constant experimentation with materials and techniques. I use a wide range of clays of different temperatures and I create my own glazes and engobes to obtain a personalised palette of colours. Each piece is unique, handmade in my workshop in the north of Ibiza, where I seek a balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary designs. "

"My interior design pieces are born from the fusion between my experience as a designer and my passion for ceramics. Each piece is unique, created by hand and without previous sketches, leaving space for spontaneity and connection with the material. Cracks, twists and textures are present in all my pieces. These are metaphors for life, reflecting scars that time leaves us and the transformations we experience. Scars that time leaves us and those marks that are reflections of our experiences.
Like clay, each of us carries with us the marks of time. To accept these marks is to acknowledge our own history and celebrate the beauty of imperfection. "

At the same time, Carol deepened her knowledge of ceramics through various courses and workshops.  She studied with masters such as Antoni Ribas, ‘Toniet’ in Ibiza, and with Alberto Bustos in Madrid, exploring ceramic sculpture with Rafaela Pareja and Daniel Benlloch. She also studied  porcelain and metal jewellery at the Escuela de la Bisbal, taking various courses with ceramists María Torné and Nuria Soley.

In 2021, I won the ‘Vuit d'agost’ prize in the ‘Artesanía del Barro’ awards organised by the Consell d'Evissa. This recognition was a boost to consolidate my project and, a year later, I created the brand CAROL BONETO, dedicated to handmade porcelain jewellery and decorative ceramic objects.
